It's hard to believe our little boy is already 10 days old. We are all adjusting quite well as a new family. I often find myself staring at Drake with tears streaming down my face. I never knew I could love someone so much. Motherhood has been one of the best things that has ever happened in my life and the adventure has only begun.
Drake had a minor case of jaundice. For the past week he has had to lay on a bili blanket to reduce his bilirubin count. He was quite the trooper... every morning we had to take him to the lab to get his blood drawn. I think it was harder on mom and dad though. We just wanted to hold and cuddle with our baby. Thank goodness he is off the machine and doing well. Again we want to thank you all for your endless prayers.

Merry Christmas!!!

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. We know we did. Drake was truly the BEST Christmas present ever. We thank God daily for blessing us with such a wonderful son.


Crossroads put on other amazing Christmas service. Daddy, as always, did an awesome job leading worship. Drake even made his first stage debut, singing Silent Night with mommy and daddy.








Christmas morning, the three of us were able open presents and stocking stuffers. Although Drake will not remember that morning... it is one that we will cherish FOREVER! Afterward we headed to my parents and celebrated Jesus' birth with my mom's family.

My First Bath

Thanks to everyone for all your thoughts and prayers. We finally had our little baby boy today at about 1PM. He is perfect! His name is Drake and he weighed in at 7lbs 4 oz. We had a very long couple days here at the hospital but it was worth it. He is healthy and happy. Ryann was unbelievable. She pushed HARD for 3 1/2 hours until we finally decided to do a c-section. Ryann and Drake are both doing great!
