Splish Splash I was takin a bath...

Well we discovered that Mr Drake LOVES his bath. It's hilarious to watch him try to splash on his own.

Sleeping in my own room!

Last week Drake started sleeping in his room. The first night he did GREAT! I on the other hand didn't do so hot. After laying him in his crib, I went to our room and had a minor melt down. It was so special having him sleep right next to me the first 5 weeks of his life. Now he's a big boy sleeping on his own. Just not through the night yet...

Growing up too fast...

6 weeks ago we welcomed Drake into this world. Time is flying by way too fast! Drake is still doing great and growing like crazy. We think he weighs almost 9lbs and is about to outgrow his newborn clothes. (sniff, sniff).

He is "somewhat" starting to enjoy his tummy time. He's holding his head up well...however he still has his "bobble head" moments.

He's starting to smile and makes his precious baby sounds.

Grandma Carlson comes to visit...

Over New Year's, Bryce's mom, aunt Mim and sister Lauren came out to meet Drake. It was great catching up with everyone... we only wish they were closer!

Tummy Time

Today was Drake's first "Tummy Time." He still has some work to do. He was none too happy with Mom. I'm sure he will get the hang of it soon!
