Chubby Cheeks=Healthy Baby!!!

Yep, you guessed it... we've got a "healthy" baby on our hands. We weighed him Monday and he was about 14.5 lbs. And the rolls have only begun. LOVE THEM!!! We'll get his actual weight next week at his 4 month check up

Drake still loves the bath and now gets mad when we take him out.

Two weeks ago we had our first adventure to the mountains with Drake. Bryce had the weekend off so we headed to Frisco. It was a quick trip, but nice to get away. Drake did very well his first night away from home!

A night full of laughs...

With the spring like weather, Bryce and I thought it would be fun to walk around centerra. Before we arrived, we heard Drake sneezing in the back seat of the car. When we took him out of the car we found this...

What just happened???
Ok, maybe it was a little funny!

After we walked around the shops, I took Drake to the car so I could nurse him before we went out to eat. In the car he completely blew out his diaper. It went out the back and covered his whole outfit. (Sorry we forgot to take a pic) We didn't have a back up outfit other than a onsie that I bought as a gift for someone else. So, we put him in that and then he spit up all over it. It was quite an evening!

He's rolling over!!!

Drake is starting to roll over all by himself now. This time we caught him on camera. He even gave us a little surprise in the process!

The "firsts" for Drake have only begun...

Drake continues to get cuter and cuter each day. He is full of smiles and has become quite the cooer too. I just love hearing him say "Oh" and he is starting to say "Ah Goo." His smiles can light up any room and he is even starting to laugh. Drake's favorite thing to do is lay on the floor punching and kicking. (The same thing he did in mommy's tummy all those months.

Drake discovered his hands a couple of weeks ago. It's amazing how fascinated he is with them. He spends so much time staring at them... he tries stuffing them in his mouth...sometimes both at once!

Drake had his 2 month check up with Dr Andrea and everything looked great. His weight was 11 lbs 13 oz and his height was 23 1/4 inches long. He is in the 50th percentile for both. Dr Andrea commented that he was just the perfect baby... Of course, we already knew that! He had to get 3 shots and boy was that hard to watch. We had him giggling in no time though!

I had to go back to work this week; these past 10 weeks went by way too quickly. Drake is going to daycare at Crossroads. I was proud of myself for not crying when I dropped him off for the first time. When I got to work my mom gave me a picture of Drake in a frame that said "I love my mommy" and Geoff and Jill gave me the "Child of My Heart Willowtree." That's when I lost it. Thank goodness I only have to be away from him for 4 hours.

Bryce and I continue to thank God for our precious miracle. We are sooo blessed!
